A Bakersfield gathering place since 1940 Community-owned. Community-loved.
Fairfax Grange community hall in Bakersfield

PRESERVE THE PLACE. CONTINUE THE STORY.

Caring for our community hall

The neighbors who built it gave us something worth keeping.

BUILT IN 1940. CARED FOR TODAY.

Old buildings need
new generations.

Our hall holds decades of Bakersfield memories. Preserving it means keeping both the building and its role in community life going strong.

We’re an all-volunteer, member-supported organization. Hall rentals are our main source of income, helping us care for the place where our community gathers.
